The April meeting of the Grindstone Knitters Guild is on April 18. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

For our April program we will learn about slip stitch knitting: bring 3-4 colors of any weight yarn and appropriate needles for the yarn you bring.

We welcome new members interested in knitting and friendship and look forward to meeting you.

September Guild meeting

There is plenty to talk about at the Guild meetings and a fun Program for members.  Lora talked about the many uses of i-cord at our September meeting and Donna will show us how to make i-cord edging at the October meeting.

Pam and Vicki shared some cute finished items.

Knitting extravaganza and Arts Fest

August Meeting Annual Potluck
Time slips away quickly and our post for our August potluck meeting  was missed.  However, we did have a great time together and I took plenty of pictures.

Our ‘Annual Potluck’ meeting is really catered by Dante’s Restaurant in Berea and members supply desserts and beverages.  I have to many pictures to share that this post slow down the readers response time, so if you want to see all the wonderful knitted items we created for our Potluck contest, just click HERE.

Donna finished here gorgeous afghan.

2016 Berea Arts Fest

The Arts Fest is our annual fund raiser.  Members contribute 20% of all sales to our Guild.  We had an abundance of knitted items this year, and members were allowed to include crocheted items this year also.   We had fun mingling with our community.

Grindstone Knitters June Meeting

The Grindstone knitters have plenty of distractions while working on our knitted items for the upcoming Berea Arts Fest in September.

For our June program, Lora showed us how to make felted balls to add as decorations to our knitted projects.

We received a thank you card from Louise and her cats for our ‘thank you’ to Louise for being so generous to us with her time and effort.

More ‘Knitted Knockers’ were turned in for our 2016 charity project.
We have donated 110 pairs of knitted knockers so far !!!!

Here are some gorgeous finished items from Kathy, Beverly and Vicki.

Marilyn donated hats and scarves for Church Street Ministries charity.  Thank you Marilyn for you generosity!
